Conversations for Climate
Hey there! 👋

Are you here from the game or are you here for the game? Either way, please navigate through our mind process in building Conversations for Climate, starting for what each colour in the game represents...
Fashion
Fast fashion has become synonymous with environmental degradation and social injustices. With the clothing industry being one of the largest polluters globally, it's imperative to discuss the detrimental impacts of overconsumption, exploitation of resources, and labor abuses. By confronting the issues within the fashion industry, we can work towards sustainable and ethical practices, ensuring a better future for both the planet and its inhabitants.
Food
The food industry is a major contributor to climate change, from deforestation for agriculture to food waste in distribution and consumption. Unsustainable agricultural practices also degrade soil health, pollute waterways, and threaten biodiversity. By addressing issues such as food waste, industrial farming, and dietary choices, we can promote a more sustainable food system that nourishes both people and the planet
Energy
Energy is the lifeblood of modern civilization, yet our reliance on fossil fuels continues to exacerbate climate change and deplete natural resources. Transitioning to renewable energy sources is crucial for mitigating greenhouse gas emissions and preserving the planet for future generations. Through discussions on energy policy, innovation, and consumption habits, we can pave the way for a more sustainable energy future.
Nature & Biodiversity
Biodiversity loss and habitat destruction are key drivers of climate change and ecological imbalance. Protecting and restoring natural ecosystems is essential for mitigating climate impacts, maintaining ecosystem services, and preserving biodiversity. By exploring topics such as habitat conservation, rewilding, and indigenous land stewardship, we can appreciate the intrinsic value of nature and work towards harmonious coexistence with the natural world.
Transport & Planning
Our modes of transportation and urban development play significant roles in shaping environmental outcomes. From carbon-intensive transportation systems to sprawling urban landscapes, these factors contribute to pollution, habitat destruction, and social inequalities. By reimagining transportation systems and urban planning strategies, we can create more efficient, equitable, and environmentally friendly cities, reducing our carbon footprint and improving quality of life.
Individual Action
Climate change is a collective challenge that requires individual and systemic responses. While systemic changes are essential, individual actions can amplify efforts and drive societal transformation. Discussions on personal responsibility, consumption patterns, and environmental activism are crucial for fostering a culture of sustainability and holding individuals, corporations, and governments accountable for their impact on the planet.
We designed this game in order to help change makers kickstart important discussions on climate change and sustainability, we envision this game being played in a multitude of settings and we are sure that you guys will push the boundaries of our imagination even further.
