Today, I am watching news of wildfires in Greece, Spain and Switzerland, floods in India, tornados in Milan and having my own power cut due to apparant 'wires melting'. I am continuously blown away by the people who are responding to these posts claiming that people who state that these extremes are the result of the climate crisis are simply 'fearmongering'. How do people have the nerve? These are real life situations, and people all around the world are suffering. I can't help but imagine these people sitting oblivious at home, in a burning world with rose coloured glasses . What do you guys think, is this plain denial or a coping mechanism?
